These folks saw a bobcat far from shore near Southside Harbour, Nova Scotia. We're glad they saved the cat, who must have been exhausted. But next time, ladies, remember to use your indoor voices because human screeching only stresses out wildlife. I'm not sure petting the bobcat was a good idea, either. Once they moored, he couldn't wait to get away.

"Oh my god have mercy"
That always gets me, people that believe in a god but then ask that same god for mercy, or whatever, when that god, being omnipotent, all seeing, and controlling the entire world, he ... it is always a he, that should be your first clue ... has already decided that the bob cat should be drowned (no, I have no idea why a god would make a wild cat without using evolution and then want to drown it) but the people ask him to show some mercy and let the bob cat live.
Sigh.
Same goes with school shootings and other horrific things ... people saying prayers to the exact same god that made it happen in the first place.
And yeah, happy the cat was saved, but ... sheesh those women ... sort of ruins my idea of how Canadians are.
