Good article about Gatsby. At least it MENTIONS the "dubious heterosexuality of Nick and Jordan" even if it doesn't explore it. I've been propounding the powerful gay subtext of this novel for YEARS. It's one of my favourite hobby horses, lol. I'm looking forward to the day when a movie has the guts to make the subtext plain and clear. Nick's doomed love for Gatsby mirrors Gatsby's doomed love for Daisy. Jordan was Nick's beard and possibly also Daisy's lover.
