I don't partake myself, but it seems ludicrous that a plant that grows freely in the garden and that has so many health benefits is illegal.
Just get rid of that illegality and give seeds away for free for a while and lots of people will grow it, and hence it will cease to have value and anyone who wants to can pick some, dry some, and smoke some.
My brain refuses to accept that there is a god, but for those of you that believe in such fantasies ... he (or it or she) made it the way it is, so it seems silly not to use it.
But a bit arrogant and stupid of those in power to make it illegal, thereby ensuring that it has black market value.
