The New Zealand parrot called a kea has been known to steal interesting objects from humans. In this case, a family visiting Fiordland National Park were recording a kea when the bird decided it had to have that GoPro camera. The bird flew off and got some nice footage of the scenery. Away from the people, the kea decided to eat the camera, but had some difficulty snapping off a small piece. It probably didn't like the way the plastic tasted, either. (via Boing Boing)
Those birds are like misbehaving puppies.
I was down there about 20 years ago with my then near new Saab wagon, and the little devils ripped half the external window rubbers from my driver's side windows.
Makes you smile while you wave your fist at them.
