Vaccine

I am happy to say that my mother received her first covid vaccine last week! Now I can switch from worrying about giving it to her to just worrying that I'll get it. And that would be a problem if I were too sick to take care of her. It appears that I might have the opportunity to be immunized sometime in the next year or so. This comic is from Jeff Lofvers at Don't Hit Save.

That's good news!

Terrific! The way I think about the vaccination is that it is somewhat protective against getting sick, it may or may not be protective against spreading, but it is VERY protective against dying from the disease. And that's the most important thing for our loved ones.
