Hey! Who's the manager at WordPress that overseesthis blog. I want to talk to him right now.Why are you even referring that Halloween iscancelled? Halloween is not cancelled.Everyone already wears a mask! Everyone willalready follow your stupid COVID rules. Andthere's a full moon! And you all get an extrahour of sleep. Halloween is not run by the government! So stop your stupid wallowing, turnyour porch light on and pass out candy to the kids.#savehalloween2020Respectfully, KarenThought I'd better add that closing because, you know. . .
I WISH everyone would wear a mask, then we might all be able to go back to work and school. Freedom for those who demand it means extended misery for all of us.
Two congressional districts in Maine. The 1st, goingprogressively left in leaps and bounds (some sayit's now just a suburb of Boston - which if youknow Maine's history is pretty ironic. But I digress.).The 2nd, rural, open, mostly conservative. Themask line is pretty much the congressional districtline. Or it was, until the great wedding receptionfiasco (at an Inn I've stayed at - Great Bar!).Anyway, my annual getaway into the North MaineWoods was really different this year. Pretty obviouswho was local and who wasn't. It's a different mindsetand not always about freedom and constitutional rights. We've always been fragile as a United States. As longas people were for the most part left alone in their little world things were OK. Massive disruption is notsomething we handle very well. One of the things that's bothered me about COVID isup here, some of the super-spreader events areoriginating from churches. That's not right and I justdon't get it.
