Fritz Lang's 1927 film Metropolis is hailed as a breakthrough in cinema, but you might not have ever watched it because it's a silent film, in black and white. Now we have a fan edit that is both colorized and dubbed with sound- in English. (via Digg)
Yeah, that was fun, lots of sex and violence. Closed captioning had a rough time with it though, it couldn't figure out if he was Freder or Freighter. I noticed not many women in the crowd until the last 10 minutes, but when there were any they were in the front. The question is were the rabble gentlemen or using the ladies as shields? LoL
