Feral cats will take a bite of food from anywhere, because they don't understand the risks of the modern world. A call came in to Sierra Pacific Furbabies. A cat had been seen in the neighborhood with its head stuck in a jar. The founder of the organization, David Loop, came to investigate. The cat was feral, and had hidden under a house. In the video, they call it a basement, but the cat was actually in a tiny crawl space too small for a person to go in and catch him, and the clock was ticking, since it had been days since the cat had any water.
The feral cat was rescued and taken to a veterinarian. The cat, now appropriately named Jarhead, will require some time to be socialized, but he is making progress.
