Crab Tries to Steal a GoPro Camera
Diederick Ryan set a GoPro camera near a crab's burrow to see what would happen. The curious crab emerged and took a liking to the camera. Ryan barely made it before his camera disappeared into the hidey-hole forever! And that would have made such an impressive gift to his significant other.
The action picks up at about 1:20 into the video. (via Tastefully Offensive)
Dug's Special Mission
Dug's Special Mission was a featurette on the DVD release of the PIxar movie Up! The cartoon explains how Dug came to be Carl Fredricksen's dog after his poor treatment by the other dogs. A lovely story. (via Tastefully Offensive)

Key and Peele present a skit that's not at all funny, but cuts to the heart of the matter instantly. (via Cynical C)

GIFs, Now With Sound!
A fairly recent subreddit, /r/gifsound, is dedicated to putting an appropriate soundtrack onto popular gifs. Here's a compilation of their best creations from the past year. The YouTube page has a list of the posts they are taken from. You can go back through each to find the original video or gif if you are that curious. (via Daily Picks and Flicks)
Mosley in the Snow
What could I show you today that would make you smile instantly? How about a greyhound frolicking in the snow while wearing his Batman pajamas? Although in his everyday life he is known as Mosley, today he is BATDOG! (via Daily Picks and Flicks)
8 Snowmen You Wish Were in Your Yard
Snow is falling in my neighborhood right now. We're not supposed to get enough to build a snowman, and it will be too cold to stick together anyway. But some day this winter, I hope to construct something with a fraction of the skill and imagination of the snowmen in this list I posted at mental_floss!

Does Being Cold Make You Sick?
"You'll catch your death of cold!" Grandma says when you show up with just a sweater on in the winter. So you once again explain to her that you aren't allowed to wear a coat in class because of anti-terrism rules and there's no place to put one where it won't get stolen. But does cold weather make you sick? No. And yes. AsapSCIENCE explains the nuts and bolts of winter weather and colds and flu.
Put another way, cold weather makes me sick. Sick at heart when I have to venture out to start the car early. And sick to my stomach when I think of the heating bills. (via Geeks Are Sexy)

George Younce sings a song on The Gaithers Show …who knows how long ago, but if you haven't heard it, it's still funny! (Thanks, John Gross!)
Cat Jump Compilation
Here's a collection of cat jump videos with a twist: unless you've seen the original video, you don't know if the leap will end in a perfectly impressive landing or a complete fail. However, the age of the cat is a clue, which illustrates how cats become such impressive jumpers. They are not afraid of failure. Cats just get up and keep on trying until they get it right. Of course, it helps that cats are naturally good at falling. (via Tastefully Offensive)
