Ice Fishermen Hand-Feed a Wild Fox
This wild fox walks across a frozen lake near Saratov, Russia, to approach some fishermen. For his curiosity, he's rewarded with salami. This fox must have some previous experience with people, since you just don't expect one to come right up to people unless they are starving. This one doesn't look like he's missed too many meals for a wild animal. (via Daily Picks and Flicks)

IKEA Heights
Family, betrayal, sex, murder, and lots of melodrama: IKEA Heights is a soap opera shot at the IKEA store in Burbank, California in 2009-10. No, they didn't have permission from IKEA to do it, and some of the filming was quite an adventure. At first, store employees just assumed they had permission, but later the actors found their pictures were posted in the security room.
There's a bit of backstory about the series at reddit, when one of the actresses showed up to explain. There are seven episodes of IKEA Heights, and you can find them here. There's more information at the series blog. (via Daily of the Day)

Flying Tiare
Air Tahiti Nui is a French Polynesian airline (nicknamed Tiare) that not only takes tourists to "paradise" from France, the U.S., Japan, New Zealand, and Australia, but hops from tiny island to not-so-tiny island. This video makes use of GoPro cameras in the strangest places, even inside a jet turbine, to give us an up close and personal view of an Airbus and its routine. Plane maintenance between flights is included, and the views from above the islands are awesome. Do not miss the final shot at the end.
The video was not made by the airline, but was a project by fans with the cooperation of Tiare as a gift to the Air Tahiti Nui staff on the company's 15th anniversary. (via Boing Boing)
