Laurence Brown has not eaten sugar, or products with added sugar, for three years and nine months. I knew going in what this would mean, because Princess went to great lengths to avoid processed sugar and sugar added to products for years. But she always used honey, maple syrup, and fruit. Lately, she uses sugar only when absolutely necessary for cooking, but reduces, deletes, or substitutes whenever possible. I've learned to read ingredient lists, and recognize things like "dehydrated cane syrup" as a fancy way to say "sugar."
