Have you ever heard the phrase "blind in one eye and can't see out of the other"? That was Philomena's story. She was taken in by the rescue organization Uncle Neil's Home and nursed back to health. In foster care, she blossomed and recovered better than anyone had hoped. Aren't you glad they didn't give up on her?
