That's basically suggesting that off world alien cats came here and made statues of themselves ... that idea sphinx.
Isn't it so that Egyptians considered cats as holy, but also so that the Egyptians came about well after the pyramids were built ... ergo, the cat statues were already there, ergo 2 the cats were most likely already as gods and so were adopted by the Egyptians ... in the age old way that cats always find homes, i.e. they just waltz in and assume command.
None of my words should be considered rooted in factual history, using me as a reference regarding anything to do with North Africa would be silly.
