Palm Sunday, one week before Easter, is the day Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey. His reputation preceded him, since so many had heard of how He raised Lazarus from the dead. Here's the scene as it was portrayed in the TV series The Chosen.
When I was 12 or 13 and at a Catholic Boys school, being taught by blokes wearing dresses who called themselves brothers but not one looked much like any of the others, I was convinced Jesus was some foreign bloke from the Middle East who pretended to be a magician. I had been reading Willard Price books back then and found that portrayed father and his sons to be much more believable.
Then again, I was only human back then, so I could have been wrong.

Excellent series!! My Marie and I are rewatching it now, and looking forward to the next season when it's released in the fall.

I just finished my third watch-through, with the Bible round tables. Each time, I catch more things missed before.
Guess I'll have to watch it.
