Don't Be A Sucker

The US War Department made this film in 1947 to show how easy it is to be seduced by the forces of fanaticism and hatred. The first step is to feed people a sense of resentment, and a target for that resentment. Divide everyone into groups, "us" vs. "them." Restrict information, education, and news sources. Don't let people see that one day the leopard they adore might eat their face. These tactics have been in place in America for a long time. And people are still falling for them.
