Alex Bosworth is introduced to the Norse holiday of Thorgellen by his Viking relatives in Bakersfield. This video was obviously made before we called the day after Thanksgiving "Black Friday." (via Nag on the Lake)
Thank you, Miss, for showing this again. Alex did more than a dozen projects like this in the 1990s, illustrating his stories with crayon on butcher paper, using the VHS video equipment from his job recording weddings. They're not all available anymore. I remember Hardball, Galactic Popsicle, The Shirt Elvis Died In, and some others whose titles escape me, one about a Halloween costume that made an old woman think he was her dead son. I don't think he made a Crayon Productions video about Children Of All Ages; I'd remember the animals he described, and I only remember my mental picture of them. There's a book out, full of Alex's stories: Chip Chip Chaw!
