At the Store

When I was in the advertising business, I came to the conclusion that the best local business name was a combination of what they sell and where they are, like Springfield Flowers. That particular business would get lots of out-of-town orders when a funeral or birthday demands an arrangement. My favorite example was Peach Corner, which sold produce at the spot where Main Street turned and headed toward the interstate highway. Too bad they succumbed to a huge offer for their prime real estate; now no one can find them.

This comic is for everyone who is completely baffled by business names that have nothing to do with what they sell. Some can point you in the completely wrong direction. It's from Tiny Snek Comics

I'm here on vacation in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Where can I buy a six-pack of Coors?

Hi Miss C,
A few years ago, I went into their shop to buy a cupcake.
I was not satisfied!

Whoa, Big Al, I bet that's what inspired the comic!
