That made me happy.
Sounds like court reporters are not going to be obsolete any time soon! That's what was thought when audio recordings were first allowed in courtrooms. But the human factor is still needed!
The last time I testified in court they used a tape recorder and the reporter turned various microphones on and off. I guess they transcribed it later but can't say for sure.
