Hacker Fight

Joey and Kyle are trying to hack each other’s websites. They’ve obviously watched too many movies that featured hackers. Their battle of one-upmanship involves every stereotypical hacker cliche in the book. Or in the movies, as the case may be.

See, movies show hackers furiously typing to give a sense of action, because moving a mouse around imperceptibly is not an action sequence. The glasses and trench coats are so we can tell the good guys from the bad guys. And the black screens with green ACSII characters …well, that may be because of budget constraints, since they are using elementary school castoff computers, or possibly they’ve been in the prop shop for thirty years.
