Somewhere Out There

This song always makes me cry, even the instrumental rock version by TheHumanTim. The first time I saw the 1986 film An American Tail was years after its release, while I was waiting for my first adoption to come through. My mother was living in Africa, too, and I felt really cut off. Just the first few notes make my eyes well up. Tim does a wonderful job with the song.
