President Ben Franklin

I've seen this with Alexander Hamilton, too. I've been involved with the advertising business most of my life, and I can attest that you don't have to be educated to thrive in that industry. (via Bad Newspaper)

I guess it means they're selling cars for a dollar more than it costs them, but I don't really know which president is one which denomination.

I always thought Ben Franklin was an American 'scientist' in the 1800s who worked out something about electricity.
But I was not brought up in America and my history regarding that country is minimal.

Pretty sure the wagon is a Subaru and for sure the sedan is a Volkswagen .... my limited knowledge of American history tells me America bombed both Germany and Japan quite heavily, and yet, here we all are buying their cars.

My brother often jokes that if our uncles hadn't flown, and died, over the English Channel back in the 1940s, the Germans might have won the war and we brothers would be speaking German now ... but I reckon it was more about the Americans coming to help us than our uncles efforts.

WilliamRocket, Ben Franklin is on the $100 bill. But the joke is that Ben Franklin was never president.

Actually, the joke is that Americans should know that Ben Franklin was never president, except for car dealers.

You don't have to be a president to get your picture on a bill. Alexander Hamilton, on the $10 bill, was never president, either.
