This is 100% true. I have two old Windows 10 systems that have worked fine for years and do exactly what I need them to. While Microsoft's Ant Army may have stopped security updates, they've increased various application and OS updates that routinely fail and disable both systems. I fix it and they try again. They have to know they're breaking things so this is no more than an attempt to force people to upgrade and/or move to Microsoft's Cloud. And it's not just Windows Update as they've added the Microsoft Store which also pushes crap out. I'm running out of Registry Hacks to try and stop it.
