Why The Electoral College Ruins Democracy
Adam Ruins Everything by explaining how the electoral college works, meaning it really doesn’t work the way it should, and the way it should is kinda screwy. Adam Conover explains to Betsy Randle (from Boy Meets World) the way it is. I suppose you’d need to watch the TV show to know what happened with the Founding Fathers. If that doesn’t make you made enough, he goes on to explain how gerrymandering works.

Hey! I live in Wyoming! The electoral college is the only reason that makes it worthwhile to vote in Wyoming. Without it, the whole state's vote count would be equivalent to El Paso, TX. Surely a state vote counts for more than a city. It keeps the city-dwellers opinions in check (barely).
