The Rise and Fall of the TV Dinner



What do you do with 260 tons of turkey? Make frozen dinners! And so the TV dinner was created as the response to an emergency situation at Swanson. Cheddar has the full story.

  2. It's funny, in the '50s those TV Dinners tasted good. Half of that was probably the novelty, and the other half was the new flavors from chemicals Mom didn't put in her food.
