  1. I understand that U.S. gallons are a size all their own, but still, those prices are what we are paying for a litre.
    $3.31 for 95 octane, filled up my Italian petrol car yesterday evening.
    Then took my Italian Diesel car and did the same, for $2.99 a litre.

    The litre is used globally except the U.K. and the U.S.A.
    There are 3.78 ish litres to a U.S. gallon.
    There are 4.55 ish litres to a U.K. gallon

    Oh, I think Myanmar, a third world country, also still uses measurements based on an British king's body parts.

    The question shouldn't be how we measure anything. The question should be, what is the percentage of your income is spent on things.
