Oh, well, if it's your living, of course I don't expect you to work for nothing, Miss, but I've been searching without success for decades for a song I heard /once/ at least forty years ago about Samson's Radio Dogs. The chorus goes, "Woof woof, arf arf, Radio Dogs. Woof woof, arf arf, Radio Dogs. Fabulous hounds, but where are they now..." It's about The Major and his trained singing dogs and their fall from the heights of fame. It has a nasal edge to it, and it's both cheerful-sounding and sad.
I'm impressed that you were able to track that down, Miss C.
ReplyDeleteI've made a living by tracking things down on the internet for almost 20 years now.
