So the French had “MASH” helicopters in Vietnam before the US in Korea in January 1951.
Beside bragging rights there are lots of negatives living in a 355 year old house.

Tell me about it. My house isn't nearly as a old, but my living room light fixture is held together with household cement because 10-year-old soccer players and antique glass shades don't go together. Replacement parts are impossible to find.

ReplyDeleteI've had some tasty ones and some so awful that they hit the trash after one bite. I mean, a sip of beer did not even wash that horrid taste out of my mouth.
At the old Shea Stadium and in the left field bleacher seats, my pal Brian and I found a Harry M. Stevens stand with two pretty girls behind the counter. We got a couple of dogs and a couple of beers. We chatted with them (just flirting but not really hitting on them). They rewarded us with free refills. The Mutts were losing badly that day and we didn't want to go back to our seats to be disappointed.
It's a good thing that we took the number 7 train out to Flushing NY because we were loaded. My misspent youth.
