  1. Inflation is up roughly 10x since 1969, so add a zero to all those. I'm still going to pay for a few of those, however.

  2. At an exchange rate in '69 of $2.39, think of the great parties.
    Pink Floyd for $600, Moody Blues for $837, Fleetwood Mac for $1200 although there might be travel and backstage M&Ms added.

    As for those bathrooms we won't discuss why you go into them, but when.
    When you crawl out of bed with one eye open pre-coffee.
    Rushing, late, but a quick stop before leaving the house.
    Wake up (just resting my eyes, dear) watching TV, with a full bladder and one foot asleep.
    Stumbling in from an evening of debauchery.
    Now, do you really want navigate a vase of fresh cut plant reproductive organs(flowers), or even the whole potted plant.
    How about a very delicate dish that belonged to your lovers great grandmother filled with tiny bars of soap only to be used by guests.
    It seems knick knacks that don't fit anywhere else gravitate to the bathroom.
    Now this may look lovely in a magazine spread but think before you spend a fortune, even a small one, complicating your life.
