My older sisters had panties with the days of the week just like those, but the normal bikini style. The problem was that the vagaries of laundry days and such meant that you'd normally just grab whichever ones were clean, and then fret that you were going to get hit by a car on a Sunday, and the paramedics would think you'd been wearing the same underwear since Tuesday.
