The first Tom Scott video I ever saw was the one where he tested the theory that pineapple will erase your fingertips. It doesn't; it just makes them feel that way. That was 2009. In this clip from 2012, he again uses a pineapple, as well as a coconut, to make a cocktail the hard way.
One pineapple. One coconut. Two giant slingshots. SCIENCE. (Yes, we know we should have angled the board downwards. And yes, we know that a pina colada uses coconut cream. We weren't letting that get in the way of a good pun.)
The second Tom Scott video I ever saw was just as silly, and it might even fit at the end of this stupid experiment.
Correction: It turns out that even before those videos were made, I had posted a Tom Scott video at Neatorama. I apparently forgot his name afterward.
