Minnesotastan was proud of his state when the University of Minnesota Dance Team won the College Dance Team National Championship last weekend. It's their 22nd national championship. Minnesota won the title for their pom routine, but their jazz routine (which took second place) was the one that went viral. The sequence that got everyone's attention starts at about 1:30, where all twenty dancers spin on one foot, then do an aerial flip, then spin on one foot some more. That's a very difficult move for one person, but to get the entire team so precisely synchronized is amazing. They had initially planned for only a few dancers to execute the move, but then went ahead and included everyone. (via TYWKIWDBI)
