Find Your Passion

Yeah, it's nice when your passion aligns with profitability, but it's not really necessary. If we can get away from the American "live to work" philosophy, people would be able to look at their day job as the price you pay for free time to pursue your passions. Or you can be like me, and decide that bouncing up and down close to the poverty line my entire career is not all that bad when I get to do something fun like entertaining. Then again, I'm a Baby Boomer, and never had to deal with the insane amounts of debt and hopelessness that young people today face. This comic is from James P. Sandoval at But a Jape. His story is at the comic post. (via Geeks Are Sexy

  1. Lucky people discover the difference between what they want because all the people they hang with want those things, and what they really need to be content.
