  1. I have the National geographic magazines from the 1940s to 1980s that nobody wants to see, especially the trashman.

    The Audubon picture of the Puffin... “Another judge also pointed out that the upper rocks almost form a puffin head with a bill sticking out". I immediately saw the bird sitting on a man’s head with a cat just above and behind. I thought it looked like a statue instead of rocks at first.

    In front of my house is a stop sign whose approach is a short but deceptively steep uphill. I often here drivers learning to drive stick struggling, stalling, motors revving and tire chirps.

    General Wilkinson was as bad in peacetime as General Westmoreland was in war.
