This exact thing has occurred to me quite a few times just lately. Someone will say something to the effect of "but you won't see this on the news!" Then I think of how I read all about it about a week ago at more than one news source. This comic is from James P. Sandoval at butajape. (via reddit)

When someone say it's not in the news, ask how they know about it, and how they know what they think they know is true.
ReplyDeleteI had a very pleasant experience Sunday morning. When I woke up the TV was on as usual and I heard Walter Cronkite. For a half a minute I thought, oh, climate change, MAGA, Iraq, were only a bad dream.
Alas it was the BBC broadcasting Cronkite's coverage of the moon landing.
