The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a live webcam trained on an eagle's nest. Last week, a blanket of snow several inches thick descended overnight, and the mother woke up in an "eagle-loo" as some call it. The snow is good at keeping cold wind off the nest, but the mother needs some air and a chance to get something to eat. The eagle father seems to have kept on eye on the nest, as he shows up just in time to take his turn warming the eggs. If everything goes as planned, the eggs should hatch about a month from now.
