American Girl Cafe

This skit from last night's Saturday Night Live reminded me of the one time I went to an American Girl Cafe. It was twenty years ago in Chicago, and I needed a restroom. I found it one of the weirdest places I've ever been, and I went to Times Square in the '70s, so that's saying something. Even my kids were weirded out, and they were the target demographic at the time.  

I usually post the show's opening here, but this week's was kind of lame, compared to the reality of the week. There comes a point when you can't make the news any funnier than it already is.
