This probably wasn't in American, because he was able to use both lanes. Here in the USA there'd be a whole line of jacked-up pickup trucks and other NASCAR wanna-bes in the left-hand lane going 15 mph above whatever the posted limit is.
Actually, Bill, in some areas of the US, this setup makes sense. In the city I live, there is a street that has a support between two lanes of traffic heading in the same direction. The one I am talking about is not curved like what is in the video.
