It's not a Baby Boomer thing; that's just a go-to phrase among younger folks. "Money can't buy happiness" is a phrase aimed toward people who have plenty, but always want more. Money can certainly buy happiness, as I think back on the times that I've paid off a loan or come into some cash to pay bills. We would all be happier with less stress. Money can do that for people who don't have enough. Giving away money can do that for people who have more than is good for them. (via reddit)
