  2. If it's a frozen pizza, I've found it gives a crispier crust (sorry, that's the way I like mine; thin crust, moderately crispy ... if I wanted a hunk of bread with pizza sauce on it, I'd make a sandwich).

    Although I would put a pan underneath it to catch any possible drips and keep the interior clean.
