ReplyDeleteCouldn't help but notice that just about every one of those sex-scene shows were from something other than broadcast TV – Netflix, Hulu, or a paid service like HBO – rather than over-the-air broadcast TV... which means if you want smut you still have to pay for it one way or the other.

Built my own octagonal log house 25 years ago when I got out of grad school, and never heard of the craze from the 1850's. The local building department said my plans for a 1000 sqft house were too small. Didn't want to spend more for more logs, so on the plane to Japan for my wedding I came up with the idea for an octagon. Like Fowler, I knew a circle was more efficient and settled for an octagon.
