Gas prices are what people are talking about, so local news stations report on it. But it doesn't matter where you live, those stories are all going to be the same. They teach this formula in broadcast school. But if you are of a certain age, you might have a sense of deja vu. These stories have been the same since the 1970s at least, and will continue to pop up every few years for the foreseeable future. (via reddit)

ReplyDelete$4ish per gallon? Sign me up. We are (had to do some math) at $6US a US gallon. I hear it is even worse many other places.
ReplyDeleteGas was $4 here last month, but has come down to $3.87 as of today. I bought a couple of gallons for my lawnmower. I also took the truck to the mechanic with no gas in it, because I was afraid if I turned it off to get gas, it would never start again.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what country you are in, but you have to remember that the US is a big oil producer as well as a big oil user.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the top 10 for production, reserves and consumption but still pay more than the US. Who knows?
