Brady Brandwood had an empty saltwater tank and wanted a new and different pet to house in it. Instead of a pet shop, he went to a supermarket and bought a lobster from the seafood section! The lobster looked dead when he got it home, but revived in the aquarium.
The lobster, now named Leon, hit the jackpot! Instead of being someone's dinner, he enjoyed the best foods Brandwood could find for him, plus therapy so his claws could recover from his time in the seafood section. As he healed from that trauma, Leon started expressing his personality by cleaning and rearranging his tank and playing with his food. If you scoff at the idea of a lobster having a personality, just watch the video. It's amazing what you can learn about an animal when you keep an eye on it and care for it every day. (via Digg)
