  1. Gunther III inherited $80 million when countess Karlotta Liebenstein kicked in 1992, and since it would be unbecoming for a dog with $80 million to live feral I’d assume Karlotta named a human or two to be Gunther’s staff. (Stacey, peel me a cat.)
    That was 30 years ago, and German Shepherds, even rich ones, don’t live that long. So now we’re up to Gunther VI. Hmm I wonder if VI, V, IV, and III are actually related or just fortunate dogs the people who actually control the money picked up. If they are descendants was the first born male in each liter subject to the rules of peerage?
    The humans who actually control Gunther Inc are the lucky dogs.
