Lucrative adjective producing a great deal of profit.
Seeing that word connected with jails bothers me as it indicates someone (taxpayer) is paying too much, or someone(private equity) is charging too much. Who paroles a lucrative contract? Who gives a shorter sentence to a lucrative contract.
