The road is not wide and at short distances a chicken is free to do whatever it wants. But whether it crossed the road or the road crossed it depends upon your frame of reference. Ultimately though, it was a historical inevitability, so give me ten minutes with the chicken and I’ll find out.
Why not? Manatee county is in Florida. Therefore a Manatee County deputy is, by definition a Florida Man
