The Hood Internet continues their series of music mashups with more than 50 songs from 1981. This should being back some very specific memories for you. I was living in Brookfield, Missouri, at the time.

I began my radio career in 1982, which gives me very specific memories of songs, including receiving a copy of "Who Can It Be Now?" from Men at Work. So it was jarring to hear the song in a mix of 1981 songs. I looked it up, and learned the song was a hit in Australia and New Zealand a full year before it was released in the States. I feel better now.
