The First Restaurant Ever

It could have happened that way. And monkeys could fly out of my butt! This comic is from Alex Culang and Raynato Castro at Buttersafe.

  1. I know the USA has some quirks, spelling, voting system, using an old measuring system, to name but a few, but the habit of having people employed but not paid enough to live on so they have to beg or rely on others giving them money for free, as in a gratuity, really makes me wonder.
Where I live is different, we can be weird too I guess, depends what norm you are looking out from, I mean we drive our cars on the left side of the road, seems very normal to us, lol, because it is.
We also have free health care.
And our waiters and waitresses get paid a weekly wage that, by law, has to be a living wage, right now thats $20 an hour I think, maybe a bit more.
When that law first came in I was spitting mad, I mean, I had an employee and that cost me more each week, just because he had to feed and house his family, utter dirtbag, and that meant I would have less dollars to roll around in while I read my Scrooge McDuck comics.
But now it seems my worker/slave is a happier person, and he puts in a better effort and that means my customers are happier and come back more often, which means more comics for me !
