  3. Nextdoor came to my neighborhood bout a year ago. I bit.
    So far, as the story goes, it's all about selling stuff.
    The same people too. I'm beginning to think that's their
    business model. Nextdoor (or someone) also keeps
    increasing my "neighborhood" beyond what I want.

    There's been one major discussion so far. Someone almost
    hit a deer and put out a warning. From there it
    degenerated into the pros and cons of hunting to one
    person stating they'd shoot a hunter. Then it really
    went downhill. Whatever. Probably why there's been almost
    no growth in the user base. Just one more overly intrusive
    social app.
