What's It Like to be Bipolar?

Like many human conditions, medical, psychological, or otherwise, bipolar disorder was at first little-known (then called manic-depressive disorder), then described poorly in pop culture, then evolved in the collective mind to mean something different from what is it. Many folks display symptoms that might lead you to believe that you're "just a little" bipolar, but while there's a spectrum of symptoms we all experience at one time or another, people who suffer from bipolar disorder suffer greatly, and should seek help.
