The Paganini Orchestrion

An orchestrion is a machine that plays many different musical instruments, most often including a piano with other instruments added. The Philipps Paganini orchestrion was built by Philipps & Son’s in 1921, and is now at the Speelklok Museum in Utrecht, Netherlands. This orchestrion pays 17 instruments! In this video, Martin Molin of the band Wintergatan visits the museum to show us the Philipps Paganini and how it works. (via Laughing Squid)
